Day 1: Saigon City Tour
Learn about the city’s role in the Vietnam War and gain valuable insight into how the tragedy became the crucible by which modern Vietnamese identity took shape, starting with a visit to the War Remnants Museum. Continue on to the Reunification Palace. Once a symbol of South Vietnam, it is here where the war finally came to an end through the reconciliation of the North and South. Then, witness the architectural marvel of the Central Post Office and Notre Dam Cathedral before taking a stroll down Dong Khoi Street on your way to the Saigon Opera House. Return to your hotel with a sunset cruise through the city’s ancient canals for a brief refresh before heading out on a night-tour.
In the backdrop of the city’s lights, head straight into the heart of downtown for a taste of the city’s most delectable street-foods. Begin with a unique rice-paper pizza, then enjoy a local favorite, banh beo –also known as “water cakes” before diving into fresh snails and iconic Vietnamese pancakes known as banh xeo. End your night on a sweet note with Saigon’s best street-desserts

Day 2: Cu Chi Tunnels
Departing from Ho Chi Minh City Pier, be whisked away by speedboat along the Saigon River. As the river unfolds in front of you, the bustle of the city will be but a distant memory as life along the river becomes decisively more traditional.
After arriving at the Cu Chi tunnels, learn about their role in the war’s strategic operations and the infamous Tet Offensive of 1968. While wandering the grounds, witness the astounding resourcefulness of the Vietnamese and how they slowly made gains against all odds.
Next, take a short drive through the countryside to a cricket farm, where you’ll have a chance to not only see the production of these popular Vietnamese “snacks,” but you’ll be able to taste them, too! Be sure to sample them while wrapped up in tasty spring rolls and snap a photograph with your friends as proof of your bravery! If you don’t get your fill at the cricket farm, don’t worry. Afterwards, you’ll be brought for a traditional Vietnamese lunch –minus the crickets, en route back to Ho Chi Minh City.
